sEMG
Surface Electromyography (sEMG) is used to measure muscular tone. It utilizes electrodes that are passively pressed against the skin of the back to measure the electricalcontraction of the muscles.
The measurement is then compared to normal data. The sEMG will detect areas of increased tone (spasm) or reduced tone (weakness) of the spinal muscles as well as evaluating symmetry. It allows us to evaluate the effects of vertebral subluxation complex on the motor nervous system.
